Recently I had lunch at Talk of the Town on 135th Street in Overland Park, Kansas. This is a sports bar with a comprehensive menu of upscale “bar food.”

Browne’s Irish Marketplace
Browne’s Irish Marketplace has been a center of Irish culture in Kansas City since 1887, operating in its current building at 33rd and Pennsylvania in KCMO since 1901. The store has been run for generations by the Flavin family.
