I’ve long been a fan of New York-style pizza for years, often making an effort to seek it out locally. I was very excited to hear about the opening of Pizza Tascio in North Kansas City.

Lulu’s has been one of my regular stops for spicy vegetarian dishes for the past 15 years. These days, we frequently visit their Westwood, Kansas location. Lulu’s has a special “No Meat” menu with over 14 entrees and many vegetarian sides.
Mud Pie isn’t just a fabulous vegan bakery, it’s a Kansas City coffeehouse institution. Two locations, one 39th Street and in Overland Park.
